In the book "The Poznański Family - Jewish Entrepreneurs from Łódź" we present you with the history of the best-known family of manufacturers who lived in Łódź at the turn of the nineteenth century. The aim of this publication is to familiarize the readers with the history of the family who was of great merit to the city. The story starts at the beginning of the eighteenth century, but we put emphasis on the family's connection to Łódź- on their contribution to the architectural and civilizational development of the city. In the publication we not only present the history of the Poznański Family, but, above all, the most interesting places connected to it: beautiful palaces, large factories and the stunning family vault. Given the opportunity, we Gould also like to demonstrate how the cultural heritage of the family is used today. The properties of the family are currently considered to be the most attractive places in the city upon a river called Łódka: The Museum of the City of Łódź, Manufaktura Shopping Centre, Andel's Hotel, The Museum of Contemporary Art with its branch - ms², the Academy of Music in Łódź, the buildings of vice chancellor's office and hospitals of the Medical University of Łódź, as well as the Jewish Cemetery.
